  • Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, OFR, FNAL - Registrar / CEOpen or Close

    Prof. Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede was born in October 1954. He hails from Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State. He had his Secondary Education from 1969-1973 at the Progressive Institute, Agege Lagos and Arabic Training Centre Agege, Lagos, (Markaz) from 1973-1976 and later to the University of Ibadan between 1976 and 1977 where he obtained a certificate in Arabic and Islamic Studies. His tertiary education began in the University of Ilorin in 1978 where he studied Arabic and was awarded a B.A. Arabic (First Class Hons) in 1981. In July 1982 he was appointed an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Religions of the University. In 1991, he had his Doctorate degree in Islamic Studies also from the University of Ilorin.

  • Dr. Yusuf Lawal - Director, Test Administration DepartmentOpen or Close

    Dr. Yusuf Lawal attended the University of Maiduguri where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Political Science and Administration (1985). He equally holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lagos (1995). He is a Doctor of Philosophy Ph. D holder in Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja (2007). He joined the services of the Board as an Administration Officer I, in the then Department of Matriculation and Examination between 1989 – 1991 from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, between 1991-1994 he was an Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Registrar; he became Senior Assistant Registrar between 1994-1996; Principal Administrative Officer between 1996-1997, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer between 1997-2000 and Chief Administrative Officer between 200-2004 all in the Office of the Registrar. He became a Deputy Director in 2004 still in the Registrar’s Office until he was transferred to Test Administration Department in 2013 as an Acting Director before his recent elevation to the post of the Director of Test Administration Department. Dr. Lawal, as the Director of Test Administration Department has brought new zeal to the Department and transformed its operations. He is a witty goal-getter, who has demonstrated good leadership and his presence on the Board’s Management team is a great asset to the Board. He is a Member, Institutes of Management Consultant and Member, Institutes of Management. He has attended Trainings, Workshops and Conferences both locally and internationally.

  • Mr. Omokunmi O. Popoola – Director, Psychometrics DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Omokunmi Olayinka Popoola attended University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biology (1983), Master of Science in Microbiology (1987) and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Administration and Education (2007). He joined the services of the Board in 1990 as an Assistant Registrar. He has served in different departments and outstation of the Board. Mr. Popoola became an Assistance Director in Test Development Department between 2001-2004; he was elevated to the post of a Deputy Director, Third-Party Examinations Test Development between 2004-2006, Deputy Director and Head of Training and Development, Quality Assurance Department between 2007-2008. Deputy Director, Head of Universities Matriculation Examination Division, Test Development Department 2007-2008; Deputy Director and Head of Science Divisions, Test Development department between 2008-2012 before his posting as the pioneer Head of Psychometrics Division in 2012 till date. He has to his credit numerous academic and professional papers and has attended workshops, seminars and conferences both at home and abroad. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

  • Mr Fabian O. Okoro - Director, Information Technology Services DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Fabian O. Okoro graduated from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science in 1992 with Second Class (Upper Division) and holds a Master of Science (Msc) in Computer Science (internet Computing) from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom in 2007. After his NYSC in 1993 he joined the services of the Board as a programmer. In 1996 he was promoted to the post of a Senior programmer, in 1999 he became a Principal programmer, an Assistant Chief System Analyst in 2002, an Assistant Director in 2006. He was promoted to the post of a Deputy Director in 2011. He is presently heading the ITS Department. Mr. Okoro has received awards which include staff merit award for outstanding performance among others. He has attended and presented research papers in conferences, seminars and workshop both locally and internationally. He is widely travelled.

  • Alhaji Kamaldeen A. Oladeji - Director, Corporate Support Service DepartmentOpen or Close

    Kamaldeen Adelowo Adedeji attended University of Lagos Akoka where he obtained a Masters Education in Curriculum Studies between 1993-1995. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Mathematics Curriculum between 1985-1987 in the same university. He earned his first degree from the University of Lagos Akoka where he obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Science between 1980-1983. Mr. Oladeji started his public service career in the class after his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days when he served at the Ogun State College of Education between 1983 and 1984. He worked at Wahab Folawiyo high school Ikoyi Lagos between 1985 to 1993 and also at Atunrase Boys High School, Surulere between 1993 and 1994. Mr. Oladeji joined the services of the Board on transfer of service in 1994. He worked in various departments spending more years in the Test Development Department. He was once at the Zonal Office in Ibadan between 2006 and 2007 and from 2011 to 2014 he was the head of JAMB National Annex Lagos. He also headed Human Resources Division of Corporate Support Service (CSS) Department from 2008 to 2011. In 2014, he was transferred back to the JAMB Headquarters as a Deputy Director in the Test Development Department where he was head of the Social Sciences Division and was upgraded to the post of an Ag. Director Test Development Department before his promotion to Director of Admissions and presently he is the Director of Corporate Support Service (CSS) Department. He attended several seminars home and abroad.

  • Mrs. Mabel E. Agbebaku - Director, Special Duties DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mrs. Mabel Ekeikhome Agbebaku attended the College of Education, Agbor Delta State, where she graduated with a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in English/Religious Knowledge (1983), the University of Jos where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Education degree in English (1987). She also holds a Masters degree of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Benin (1991). Mrs. Agbebaku joined the services of the Board as an Assistant Registrar between 1993-1996; she became a Senior Administrative Officer in 1996. She moved up the ladder to an Assistant Chief Administrative Officer between 1999-2003, she was a Chief Administrative Officer between 2003-2007.She was elevated to the post of a Deputy Director in 2007 in the Test Administration Department before she was transferred to the Registrar’s Office in 2012 in the capacity of a Deputy Director Office of the Registrar. She is currently the Director Special Duties and has attended workshops and conferences locally and internationally.

  • Mr. Mufutau A. BELLO -Director, Finance and Accounts DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Mufutau Alabi Bello attended University of Ilorin where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Economics (1984) and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1992, Professional Accounting with Loopers and Lybrand (Chartered Accountant) now Price Water house Coopers (PWC) one of the biggest four accounting firms in the world, between 1987-1992. He joined the services of the Board in October 2016 as an expert in finance, under the Registrar’s office. He was elevated to the post of Acting Director Finance and Account in January 2018. He has also worked with some Institutions, some are Federal University Of Technology Owerri, University Of Ife, Ile-Ife, (Now Obafemi Awolowo University), Federal University of Technology Minna, Federal Medical Centre, Owo Ondo State, Office Of Accountant General of the Federation, Abuja and more. He has numerous academic and professional papers. He has also received awards as best graduating student 1983-1984 at the University of Ilorin, best graduating student in Economics Department in University of Ilorin 1983-1984 and also Federal University Of Technology Minna 2008 SERVICOM award for commitment to service and leadership role model. He is currently the Director of Finance and Account Department of the Board.

  • Dr. Halilu Bakori Mohammed -Director, Test Development DepartmentOpen or Close

    Dr. Halilu Bakori Mohammed is an indigene of Kori Local Government area of Katsina State. In 1986 he graduated from Bayero University Kano, with B.A Hausa (HONS). He obtained Graduate Certificate of Education same year. He obtained M.E.D in Guidance and Counselling in 2001 and went further to obtain a P.G.D.M in Personnel Management in 2004 at Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna. He attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he obtained his Ph.D Guidance and Counselling in 2014. He served in A/C Unity School Ekipimi-Akoko. Dr. Halilu worked with Federal Ministry of Education between 1987-1991. Dr Halilu joined the service of the Board in 1991as Assistant Registrar II. He was promoted to Assistant Director I in 1996 and Principal Admin Officer in 2003. He became an Assistant Director 2008, Deputy Director 2013. He was promoted to Acting Director in January 2018 and now the Director, Test Development Department. He has attended various conferences both locally and internationally, and has done several academic presentations.

  • Hajia Karimatu Amina Abubakar - Director, General Services DepartmentOpen or Close

    Hajia Karimatu Aminu Abubakar is a native of Dukku Local Government in Gombe State. She started her early school life at Magwam Primary School Kano and later obtained her S.S.C.E at Government Girls College, Kano. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. Hajia Karimatu joined the services of the Board in 2000 as a Principal Administrative Officer and rose through the ranks to become a Deputy Director in 2012 and in the same year she was appointed Coordinator of JAMB Zonal Office, Kano. She is currently the Director, General Services Department of the Board.

  • Dr. Mrs. Beatrice Nma Okorie - Director, Quality Assurance DepartmentOpen or Close

    Dr. (Mrs). Beatrice Nma Okorie was born, in Nsukka Enugu. She has two Masters Degree one in Political Science and the second in Life Management where she specialized as a sonographer. She also has a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD.) in Hospital Management both courses she read because of her yearning desire to serve humanity in the medical field.
    Dr. (Mrs). Okorie joined the service of the Board as an Assistant Registrar in the National Headquarters Annex, Lagos (former JAMB National Headquarters) in 1993 and she have risen through the ranks. She has headed the Enugu state office as a Coordinator from 2006-2014 and was then transferred to head the National Headquarters Annex, Lagos Office also as a Coordinator.
    Dr. (Mrs). Nma Okorie is happily married to Dr. Onyems Okorie a native of Uzu-Akoli in Abia State and the union is blessed with six children. The proud mother and grandmother of two have attended workshops and conferences both locally and internationally. She is presently in the National Headquarters, Abuja in the Test Administration Department were she has served as a Deputy Director till her current position as the Director, Quality Assurance Department.

  • Mrs. Ann Momoh - Ag. Director, Admissions DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mrs Ann Aijolokharai Momoh was born on 15th March, 1959 in the family of Elder and Mrs A. W. S Osifoh, the 3rd Child of the family. She hails from Ihievbe, Owan East Local Government Area, Edo State. She is Happily Married to Engineer Paul Momoh with two children and grandchildren. She attended Abadina Primary School, University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 1967-She graduated from University of Ilorin, Kwara State in 1985 with B.ED Physical and Health Education (Second Class Honours, Upper Division). She obtained her M.ED Educational Evaluation from University of Ibadan in 1998. She started her career as a course writer in Physical and Health Education in NTI on 1st June, 1990. She transferred her service to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in December 1993. She has worked in various Departments of the Board. She was in the Test Development Department (1993-1997), JAMB Office, Ibadan, Oyo State (1998-1999), State Office, Benin City, Edo State (1999-2000), Test Administration Department 2004 and was a State Coordinator, JAMB Office, Asaba, Delta State (2002-2004), State Coordinator, JAMB Office, Uyo, Akwa-Ibom (2005-2006), Zonal Coordinator, JAMB Zonal Office, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State (2006-2011), Head of Colleges of Education Division, Admissions Department (2011-2012), Head of Universities Division, Admissions Department (2012-2017), Zonal Coordinator, JAMB National Headquarters Annex, Kaduna (4th April, 2017 – 30th July, 2017), Head of Universities Division, Admissions Department (31st July, 2017 – 22nd April, 2018) and was made Acting Director, Admissions Department (23rd April, 2018 – till date). She is a lover of sports from her youthful days. She is a member of the Special Marshal (Bwari Unit) of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). She had contributed in the writing of NTI NCE/DLS course books while she was in NTI. She is very diligent and dutiful. Always ready to take on challenges. She is an amiable and approachable leader. A goal getter and excels at every task given to her.

  • Fabian Benjamin, PhD., ANIPR,FCIA. – Head, Media & PublicityOpen or Close

    Dr. Fabian Benjamin holds a B.A. (Hons) in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, MSc Public Administration and Policy Analysis(2009) from the University of Abuja and a Ph.D Policy Analysis(2015) University of Abuja. he is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria. He was employed at Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board in 2002 as an Administrative Officer and rose to the position of Head information Unit and now the Head of media and Publicity.

  • Barrister Mohammed S. Ibrahim - Head, Legal and Secretariat DivisionOpen or Close

    Barr. Muhammed Shafiyi Ibrahim is an indigene of Bida Local Government of Niger state. In 1986 he attended University of Jos, where he obtained L.L.BC Hons. Barr Shafiyi served at The Polytechnic Ibadan in 1988. In 1989 he attended Nigerian Law School Victoria island Lagos and he was called to bar same year. He joined the services of the Board in December 1990 as an Assistant Registrar II (A.O). Four years later, he was promoted to the post of a Senior Admin Officer, in July 1994. He was promoted to the post of a Principal Admin Officer in July 1997. In 2000 he became an Assistant Chief Admin Officer. Barr. Shafiyi became an Assistant Director in 2005 , while in January 2013 he was elevated to the position of a Deputy Director a post he holds till date. He attended several Seminars, Workshops, Retreats, Courses and Trainings both locally and internationally.
