  • Professor Is-haq Olarewaju Oloyede - Registrar / CEOpen or Close

    Prof. Is-haq Olarewaju Oloyede was born in October 1954. He hails from Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State. He had his Secondary Education from 1969-1973 at the Progressive Institute, Agege Lagos and Arabic Training Centre Agege, Lagos, (Markaz) from 1973-1976 and later to the University of Ibadan between 1976 and 1977 where he obtained a certificate in Arabic and Islamic Studies. His tertiary education began in the University of Ilorin in 1978 where he studied Arabic and was awarded a B.A. Arabic (First Class Hons) in 1981. In July 1982 he was appointed an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Religions of the University. In 1991, he had his Doctorate degree in Islamic Studies also from the University of Ilorin.

  • Mr. Olujide A. Adisa - Director, Special Duties DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Olujide Alade Adisa attended the Strayer University, Washington D.C - U.S.A where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer/Data Processing Management in (1985). He also has a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Accountancy from Strayer University, Washington, D.C - U.S.A. Mr. Adisa joined the services of the Board in 2002 as a Deputy Director and he became a Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) department in 2008. Mr. Adisa is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE). In the course of his career, he has attended workshops and conferences both within and outside Nigeria.

  • Mr. Hamzat M. Balogun - Director, Finance and Accounts DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Hamzat M. Balogun attended the School of Basic Studies, Kwara State College of Technology for his Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination and proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accountancy in 1982 He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He has work experiences in different capacities as a professional accountant and banker before he was employed into the services of the Board in 2000 as a Chief Accountant. Mr. Balogun was appointed a Director of Finance and Account Department in the Board in 2010.

  • Mr. John T. Okonkwo-Uwandulu -Director, Quality Assurance DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. John Tochukwu Okonkwo-Uwandulu, MNIM, is an alumnus of Baptist Academy, Lagos. He graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from the University of Benin in 1984. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He has attended several workshops, seminars and conferences both at local and international levels. He joined the services of the Board as an Administrative Officer (AOI) in 1991. He has served in different Departments and outstations of the Board. Mr. John Tochukwu Okwonkwo-Uwandulu was appointed a Director in the Board in 2010.

  • Dr. Yusuf Lawal - Director, Test Administration DepartmentOpen or Close

    Dr. Yusuf Lawal attended the University of Maiduguri where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Political Science and Administration (1985). He equally holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lagos (1995). He is a Doctor of Philosophy Ph. D holder in Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja (2007). He joined the services of the Board as an Administration Officer I, in the then Department of Matriculation and Examination between 1989 – 1991 from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, between 1991-1994 he was an Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Registrar; he became Senior Assistant Registrar between 1994-1996; Principal Administrative Officer between 1996-1997, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer between 1997-2000 and Chief Administrative Officer between 200-2004 all in the Office of the Registrar. He became a Deputy Director in 2004 still in the Registrar’s Office until he was transferred to Test Administration Department in 2013 as an Acting Director before his recent elevation to the post of the Director of Test Administration Department. Dr. Lawal, as the Director of Test Administration Department has brought new zeal to the Department and transformed its operations. He is a witty goal-getter, who has demonstrated good leadership and his presence on the Board’s Management team is a great asset to the Board. He is a Member, Institutes of Management Consultant and Member, Institutes of Management. He has attended Trainings, Workshops and Conferences both locally and internationally.

  • Mr. Abdullahi Dalhatu - Director, General Services DepartmentOpen or Close

    Abdullahi Dalhatu hails from Kano State in the Northwest Geo-Political Zone of Nigeria. He holds a B. A. Education Hausa 1982 at Bayero University, Kano. He joined the services of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on 1st July 1997, as Chief Administrative Officer on USS 12 on transfer of service from Kano State Ministry of Education, Kano State. From 1997-2001 he was the first Officer to head the then Kano Liaison Office which is now a Zonal Office. He became a Deputy Director in 2002 in charge of Training and Development in the Administrative Department. Between 2002-2012 he was the head National Headquarters Annex, Kaduna as Deputy Director in charge of Administration. By October 2012 he was redeployed to Admissions Department at the Board’s headquarter in Abuja as the Deputy Director in charge of Colleges of Education Division. As a Deputy Director, Colleges and member of the Board’s Management, Abdullahi Dalhatu has displayed exemplary discipline and he has demonstrated good leadership and dedication to duty. He is meticulous and upright. Based on his upright record and hard work he was promoted to the post of a Director in 2014 and he became the first Director of the General Services department.

  • Mr. Omokunmi O. Popoola – Director, Psychometrics DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Omokunmi Olayinka Popoola attended University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biology (1983), Master of Science in Microbiology (1987) and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Administration and Education (2007). He joined the services of the Board in 1990 as an Assistant Registrar. He has served in different departments and outstation of the Board. Mr. Popoola became an Assistance Director in Test Development Department between 2001-2004; he was elevated to the post of a Deputy Director, Third-Party Examinations Test Development between 2004-2006, Deputy Director and Head of Training and Development, Quality Assurance Department between 2007-2008. Deputy Director, Head of Universities Matriculation Examination Division, Test Development Department 2007-2008; Deputy Director and Head of Science Divisions, Test Development department between 2008-2012 before his posting as the pioneer Head of Psychometrics Division in 2012 till date. He has to his credit numerous academic and professional papers and has attended workshops, seminars and conferences both at home and abroad. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

  • Alhaji Kamaldeen A. Oladeji - Director, Test Development DepartmentOpen or Close

    Kamaldeen Adelowo Adedeji attended University of Lagos Akoka where he obtained a Masters Education in Curriculum Studies between 1993-1995. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Mathematics Curriculum between 1985-1987 in the same university. He earned his first degree from the University of Lagos Akoka where he obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Science between 1980-1983. Mr. Oladeji started his public service career in the class after his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days when he served at the Ogun State College of Education between 1983 and 1984. He worked at Wahab Folawiyo high school Ikoyi Lagos between 1985 to 1993 and also at Atunrase Boys High School, Surulere between 1993 and 1994. Mr. Oladeji joined the services of the Board on transfer of service in 1994. He worked in various departments spending more years in the Test Development Department. He was once at the Zonal Office in Ibadan between 2006 and 2007 and from 2011 to 2014 he was the head of JAMB National Annex Lagos. He also headed Human Resources Division of Corporate Support Services (CSS) Department from 2008 to 2011. In 2014, he was transferred back to the JAMB Headquarters as a Deputy Director in the Test Development Department where he was head of the Social Sciences Division until his recent upgrade to the post of an Acting Director in 2016. He attended several seminars home and abroad.

  • Mrs. Kulu J. Yabilsu – Director, Corporate Support Services DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mrs. Kulu J Yabilsu is a trained Educator and Administrator. She studied English Language at the University of Maiduguri, Post Graduate Diploma in Education at University of Jos and Masters Degree in Linguistics and Public Administration from University of Port Harcourt and Maiduguri respectively. She started her career as an English Teacher in Post Primary Schools and a lecturer at Federal University of Technology, Owerri before joining the services of the Board in 1993. She has served in various departments and outstations within the Board. Mrs. Yabilsu is a member of six (6) Associations and Institutes including the Teachers Registration Council, Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administrators and Nigerian Institute of Training and Development.

  • Mr Fabian O. Okoro - Ag. Director, Information Technology Services DepartmentOpen or Close

    Mr. Fabian O. Okoro graduated from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science in 1992 with Second Class (Upper Division) and holds a Master of Science (Msc) in Computer Science (internet Computing) from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom in 2007. After his NYSC in 1993 he joined the services of the Board as a programmer. In 1996 he was promoted to the post of a Senior programmer, in 1999 he became a Principal programmer, an Assistant Chief System Analyst in 2002, an Assistant Director in 2006. He was promoted to the post of a Deputy Director in 2011. He is presently heading the ITS Department. Mr. Okoro has received awards which include staff merit award for outstanding performance among others. He has attended and presented research papers in conferences, seminars and workshop both locally and internationally. He is widely travelled.

  • Mrs. Mabel E. Agbebaku - Deputy Director, Office of the RegistrarOpen or Close

    Mrs. Mabel Ekeikhome Agbebaku attended the College of Education, Agbor Delta State, where she graduated with a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in English/Religious Knowledge (1983), the University of Jos where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Education degree in English (1987). She also holds a Masters degree of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Benin (1991). Mrs. Agbebaku joined the services of the Board as an Assistant Registrar between 1993-1996; she became a Senior Administrative Officer in 1996. She moved up the ladder to an Assistant Chief Administrative Officer between 1999-2003, she was a Chief Administrative Officer between 2003-2007.She was elevated to the post of a Deputy Director in 2007 in the Test Administration Department before she was transferred to the Registrar’s Office in 2012 in the capacity of a Deputy Director Office of the Registrar till date. She has attended workshops and conferences locally and internationally.

  • Fabian Benjamin, PhD., ANIPR,FCAI. – Head, Media & PublicityOpen or Close

    Dr. Fabian Benjamin holds a B.A. (Hons) in Public Administration from Amhadu Bello University, Zaria, MSc Public Administration and Policy Analysis(2009) from the University of Abuja and a Ph.D Policy Analysis(2015) University of Abuja. he is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria. He was employed at Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board in 2002 as an Administrative Officer and rose to the position of Head information Unit and now the Head of media and Publicity.

  • Barrister (Mrs.) Folashade O. Akinsete - Ag. Head, Legal and Secretariat DivisionOpen or Close

    Barrister Folashade O. Akinsete was employed by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board in 2002 as an Administrative Officer II and rose to the rank of Chief Administrative Officer. She was Elevated to the position of Ag. Head Legal and Secretariat Division on 31st August,2016.
